Pacific-Asian Education


Originally launched in 1987 the Pacific Circle Consortium’s journal, Pacific-Asian Education (formerly Pacific Education), has established itself as an international refereed journal, which reports on PCC projects and other relevant research within the organization’s purview. Since 2008, the journal has transitioned to an online format. 

Special Issue: Looking Inward, Looking Outward--Education in Uncertain Times
As we navigate the aftermath of a global pandemic and a world faced with armed conflicts, natural disasters, and other crises, it is essential to critically reflect on the impact such events have had on educational systems, practices, and policies, both locally and globally, on top of existing educational issues. This special issue aims to delve into implications of crises on education, so we invite contributions that critically reflect on events, the lessons learned, the challenges faces, and the opportunities presented as we emerge from one unprecedented crisis and face the challenge of many others, while also considering the path forward.
